Lord, today we unite with fellow Christians from many denominations and backgrounds, coming before you, asking you to help us. We humble ourselves, not only today, but every day. Hear our prayers, forgive our sins and heal our land. We have been proud and arrogant as individuals, families, churches and as a nation. You continually bless us, and we have taken your blessings for granted. You are so worthy of our love and devotion, but we have forgotten you and ignored your word. Why Do They Call it Good Friday?

Jesus knew that the sufferings he would experience on this earth would pale in comparison to the glory of redeeming the children of God, for the sole purpose of it being the Father's will to show them his kindness for all eternity. God desired to lavish his riches and grace upon us, but it could only come at a great cost. It wouldn't be free. It would cost him everything.

The Goodness of God During the Coronavirus Outbreak

I asked the Lord, “What’s going to happen to the church?” I heard, “She will lift up her head. She will be refined, tested and tried, but will see God’s power in a brand new way. She will see the Lord’s provision and work in the middle of the trials.” I felt led to pray that the Lord will give us specialization to minister to people in the middle of the coming judgement and trial.
