There is one thing the disciples did not have at Gesthemane that we have. They did not have the indwelling Holy Spirit. They didn't have access to the power of God in their inner beings to strengthen their "inner man" for the arduous time they were walking in. Those who believe in Jesus have access to the store houses of the Spirit of God, since we are sealed with the Holy Spirit. (Ephesians 1:13-14.) We can pray that God will build us up in our inner beings that Jesus will dwell in our hearts through faith.
