...forgiveness brings peace and life. Forgiveness is casting all our cares upon Jesus, because he cares for us. Forgiveness is releasing someone from our judgement and not allowing their weaknesses or sin to ferment inside of our souls, to make us drunk on the bitter wine of hatred. When we fast and pray, we need to make walking in forgiveness a priority. Cleanse your soul from all anger.

Trusting God for All Our Needs

I cried and cried. We didn’t tell anyone but the Lord. I spent time talking to God about what he had asked us to do. He wanted us to move to a new city where we didn’t know anyone, make sacrifices and yet here we were in this situation. I remember being brutally honest with the Lord in my prayer time.

When it seems like our prayers aren’t being answered

We do not need to fear the enemy, including when he seems relentless and our defense doesn't seem to be working. Truthfully speaking, the enemy lost at the cross. He lost the war, but he doesn't like to give up in the battle. How much more should we, who won the war in Christ, not give up in the battle? Why do we say, "Oh well. Jesus won the war, so who cares if we lose this battle?"Â
